Government Affairs Committee

Irvine City Councilmember Michael Carroll will address business and community leaders convening for the Greater Irvine Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee meeting on Thursday, Dec. 5, 8 – 9:30 a.m. The meeting is open to the public.

Councilmember Carroll was appointed to the Irvine City Council in May, 2019.  Prior to his appointment, he served as vice chair of the Irvine Planning Commission, chair of the Community Services Commission in 2016, and as Community Services Commissioner from 2012 to 2015. Councilmember Carroll is a member of the Irvine Certified Emergency Response Team.

He also serves as the City of Irvine’s representative to the Southern California Association of Governments, the nation’s largest metropolitan planning organization.
