Eldercare Issues and Solutions: A Panel Discussion

Caring for an aging relative is challenging in many areas of healthcare, finances, place of residence, and end of life matters. As our
population continues to age, clinicians will need to be prepared to assist their clients in navigating these challenges. For example, how do you balance an older adult’s desire to remain independent with the reality of their physical and mental limitations? How do you discuss finances with a parent who sees this as inappropriately intrusive? What is the best way to discuss end of life issues?

This workshop will provide information and resources to assist you as you work with middle-aged clients who are struggling with elderly relatives or with elderly clients who are faced with difficult and emotionally challenging decisions.

The event is free. Two CEU’s for MFTs, LCSW’s and LPCC’s offered upon completion of the program. Register here.
