Cybersecurity Strategies for Small Businesses

Orange County Business Council has partnered with Concordia University Irvine to host a program designed to empower business owners with actionable tools and insights to safeguard their businesses from cybercrime. As small businesses take advantage of technology through digital marketing, e-commerce, and automation tools, they are also increasingly targeted by cybercriminals. Roughly 43% of cyberattacks target small businesses because they typically lack the protection larger enterprise companies deploy. Attendees will learn practical recommendations and strategies from our panel of cybersecurity experts to ensure your business is resilient against cyber threats.

This event will cover essential topics such as:

  • Identifying and addressing vulnerabilities
  • Simple security measures with a big impact
  • Responding when something does happen
  • Understanding threats
Panelists:
Lance Larson, Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center
Randy Jeter, Procure IT

Moderator:
Jeff Ball, Orange County Business Council
