Human Options is committed to transforming the way our community understands relationship violence by elevating the voices of survivors. In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October, this session will feature the powerful story of a former survivor who found refuge through her local Police Department, as well as insights from a dedicated Chief of Police—a longtime Human Options ally—who champions the safety and empowerment of survivors.
 
This series is meant to challenge both panelists and attendees to step outside their comfort zones. We believe meaningful change begins with courageous, sometimes difficult conversations. That’s why no topic is off-limits — this is our opportunity to prevent relationship violence before it starts.
