DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome newly elected Irvine Councilmember Anthony Kuo.  Anthony was elected to the City Council in 2018\, bringing almost eight years of experience as a Planning Commissioner\, including four consecutive terms as Chairman. Councilmember Kuo also holds the distinction of being the first member of the Irvine City Council to have been born in Irvine.\n\n\n\nCouncilmember Kuo will discuss how his extensive experience in the city brings a unique perspective to the Council and what he expects for the next year.\n\n\n\nThe mission of the Government Affairs Committee is to educate the business community on legislative issues that will affect their business and the Greater Irvine Community. The committee also advocates to and educates elected officials at all levels on the Chamber's public policy positions.
