As the Director of Transportation\, Linsenmayer manages all aspects of transportation\, including traffic management and transit planning\, and serves as the staff liaison to the newly created Transportation Commission. \n\nIn his previous role as Deputy Executive Officer of Countywide Planning for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority\, Linsenmayer was responsible for programming and oversight of several transportation initiatives. He brings transportation engineering and management experience to his role.\n\nLinsenmayer earned a master's in Urban and Regional Planning from University California\, Irvine and a master's in Public Administration from the University of Colorado\, Denver.
