DESCRIPTION:The Economic & Workforce Development Committee will explore and identify best practices and solutions to meet 21st century education and workforce development challenges.\n\n\n\nThe Education & Workforce Development Committee invites its long-time members and all its college and education partners to help us work on solutions to the 21st century work and workplace challenges.  We need all hands on deck as we sort through the issues of preparedness\, soft skills\, college curriculum and business need   all to identify the best ways the Chamber and its membership can influence positive outcomes for employees and employers.\n\nOther business includes:\n\n	Career Edge report of April 22 workshop\; plans to scale the program and its implications\n	Transition the Job Shadowing program and building an internship database\n	Ethics Forum\, Financial Forum progress and opportunities
