Students that participate in Career Edge will have an advantage during their job search and will bring distinctive and marketable skills to the jobs they land\, greatly increasing their success rate and on-the-job performance.\n\n\n\nUpon completion of the series or individual workshops\, students will receive:\n\n\n Certificate of Completion\n Letter of Completion/Recommendation from Chamber\n Social media recognition for participation and completion of course work\n Opportunity to meet with business professionals\n\n\n\n\nEffective Business Communication\n\n\n\n\nInstructor: Dr. Roopa Mathur\, Chair & Professor\, School of Business Sciences\, Irvine Valley College (IVC)\n\nMathur holds a Ph.D. in Management (Information Systems Management)\, an M.S. in Computer Information Systems\; and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She has taught numerous courses in Computer Information Management\, Management\, and Engineering and is involved in IVC committees\, including Academic Affairs\, Academic Senate\, Online Education\, Technology\, and Guided Pathways.
